3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach will begin Saturday's game against the Oakland Athletics on the bench, according to MLB.com. It's looking like a breakout season for Larnach thus far, as he's slashing .313/.365/.448 with 12 runs and seven RBI, though no home runs, over 22 games. Taking his spot in the lineup is utility player Nick Gordon. The 26-year-old isn't known for his bat, hitting .244 this season with no home runs and a .613 OPS. The only thing Gordon offers is a bit of speed, as he stole 10 bases a season ago over 73 games. However, there are better options on the waiver wire in all formats, so passing over Gordon would be the right decision.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
