3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez continued his impressive campaign on Saturday against the Padres, tossing eight-shutout frames in the 8-0 victory. The right-hander struck out five while walking two and giving up five hits, which were all singles, in the 97-pitch outing to improve his record to 4-1. Lopez has now allowed one run or fewer in five of his six starts this season as he sits with a 1.00 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and a 35/8 K/BB through 36 IP.
