3 years agoMartin Truex Jr. is accustomed to being a favorite at Darlington. This week, Kyle Larson gets the numbers for consistency but typically, Truex Jr. has been right there as well. The No. 19 car has won one race and could have won a couple others over the past three seasons at Darlington. His speed interval was 31st early in practice but started to creep up, especially in qualifying. There are few that race on high-wear tracks quite like Truex Jr. He has led 24.3% of laps the past six races on the 1.366-mile course. If there are a series of shorter runs late, Truex Jr. will be one to keep an eye on to steal a checkered flag. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
