3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has been impressed with second-round running back Kenneth Walker III during rookie minicamp. "He took off now, he's a rocket," Carroll said. However, Carroll pumped the brakes when asked if Walker would be Seattle's third-down back. "He has a ways to go pass-protection wise, that's a real challenge for him, so we will see. I know that his attitude will be in it, he's a terrific competitive kid. That really needs to be a priority, which it is, and we've already talked to him about it." Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny are both extremely injury-prone, so Walker could fall into a big role in his first NFL season. However, if both stay healthy, Walker might not have much of a role, especially since Penny had a career year in 2021 when Carson missed most of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
