3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Nakobe Dean (chest) has been a full participant during the team's rookie minicamp. Dean fell all the way to the third round in this year's draft because of concerns about his chest injury. He has first-round potential, but he missed all of the pre-draft workouts. The 21-year-old from Georgia was cleared to resume football activities last week and will have a chance to play significant snaps for the Eagles defense in his first year in the NFL. Dean was the leader of the best defense in college last year. He is on the small side for a linebacker, but his speed and ability to diagnose plays should help him overcome that if he can stay healthy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
