3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) threw a bullpen session of around 30 pitches at Oracle Park in San Francisco on Saturday, and he continues to make steady progress in his rehab process from right shoulder inflammation. Manager Oliver Marmol said there is still a "lengthy progression" of steps before Flaherty can go on a rehab assignment. The team will likely have him throw another bullpen in St. Louis on Tuesday or Wednesday. The 26-year-old right-hander will most likely need multiple simulated games and/or minor league rehab outings, so fantasy managers shouldn't realistically expect him to return to the Cardinals starting rotation until early June.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
