Sony Michel Agrees To Deal With Miami
3 years agoFree-agent running back Sony Michel agreed to a one-year deal with the Dolphins on Monday. The veteran visited the team last week, and he will now compete with Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert, Myles Gaskin, and Salvon Ahmed for playing time. It's conceivable to believe one of those backs will be cut loose ahead of the 2022 campaign. However, even with the crowded backfield, Michel's fantasy value will likely continue to be contingent on his red zone opportunities, an area where he accumulated a considerable portion of his touches last season while with the Los Angeles Rams. Nonetheless, the 27-year-old isn't anticipated to be a week-to-week fantasy option in any format. However, Michel should have some solid outings here and there throughout the year, making him more than just a standard insurance policy.
