3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Chris Paddack (elbow), who is dealing with right elbow inflammation, is seeking more medical opinions on his arm, and surgery is a possibility. Paddack has yet to be placed on the injured list or officially ruled out for his next start, but fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if either were to come to pass shortly. If Tommy John surgery is needed, the 26-year-old would miss the rest of this year and at least half of next season for the Twins. Until we know more, brace for the possibility that Paddack won't be back until at least the second half this year. He had a 4.03 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with two walks and 20 K's in his first five starts for the Twins, but a 1.69 FIP showed that he could've just been scratching the surface in Minnesota.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
