Jacob deGrom Moved To 60-Day Injured List
3 years agoThe New York Mets transferred starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list on Tuesday. In a corresponding move, the team claimed left-hander Lock St. John off waivers from the Chicago Cubs. It's a procedural move, as the two-time Cy Young winner is expected to be out through the All-Star break in July. He was diagnosed with a stress reaction of his right scapula on April 1, and he hasn't resumed baseball activities more than five weeks later. Fantasy managers should have a better idea of deGrom's actually timetable for a return once he starts a throwing program. Until then, all you can do is be patient and stash one of the best pitchers in baseball.
