Giancarlo Stanton Hits Three-Run Home Run Tuesday
3 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-4 with a single and a three-run home run in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays. The sixth-inning, opposite-field shot just cleared the right-field wall for Stanton's seventh HR of the season. The veteran hasn't provided quite as much power as fantasy managers were hoping for to this point, slashing .259/.291/.463 with 22 RBI in his first 117 plate appearances. That being said, he hasn't done poorly and benefits from hitting in a strong lineup. Fantasy managers should continue to keep him in their lineups with the hopes that his power swing will fully come around sooner rather than later.
