3 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon added to the excitement of Tuesday's 12-0 win over the Rays, going 1-for-5 with a three-run home run and two strikeouts. Up 10-0 in the eighth inning, Rendon stepped into the box left-handed against outfielder Brett Phillips and clubbed a 54-MPH offering over the right-field wall. While it was a fun moment, the 31-year-old is slashing just .206/.314/.373 with four HR and 16 RBI to start the season. At this point, fantasy managers may want to consider keeping Rendon on their benches until he can pick things up at the plate.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
