Seiya Suzuki Out Of Lineup Again Wednesday
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki (ankle) remains out of the starting lineup again on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres. Suzuki was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to right ankle soreness, but he did enter the game later as a pinch-hitter. With the 27-year-old out again on Wednesday, Rafael Ortega will start in right field and bat leadoff against Padres right-hander Nick Martinez. Frank Schwindel is serving as the designated hitter and is batting seventh. Ortega is hitting just .220 with no home runs, one RBI and two stolen bases in 24 games, but he could pay off as a low-cost DFS sleeper on Wednesday's slate in the leadoff spot. Fantasy managers should consider Suzuki day-to-day for now.
