3 years agoFree-agent wide receiver Dante Pettis has signed with Chicago, joining Tajae Sharpe as the latest addition for the rebuilding franchise. Pettis is coming off his most recent season with the New York Giants, where he had only 10 receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown. However, he would only suit up for three games during the 2021-22 campaign before landing on the injured reserve because of a shoulder ailment. The 26-year-old was selected in the second round by the 49ers during the 2018 NFL Draft. Since then, he's compiled a career total of 52 catches for 739 yards and nine touchdowns, with five of those end zone trips occurring during his rookie year. Nonetheless, Pettis isn't anticipated to be a viable week-to-week fantasy option come September, but managers may see his name in waiver columns at some point during the year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
