Dolphins To Create Competitive Environment At RB
3 years agoMiami Dolphins associate head coach/running backs coach Eric Studesville said the team wants to "create a competitive environment and you let those guys go sort it out because that's how it's going to happen." "They're going to sort it out as to who contributes and where and how and how much. So that's what you do. You build a group of people – great people – who want to be smart and are committed to what you're trying to do, and you let them go and showcase what they can do." Chase Edmonds is expected to get the first crack at lead-back duties, but Sony Michel and Raheem Mostert will also be in the picture. Myles Gaskin, last year's starter, also remains on the roster. So if Edmonds isn't performing up to expectations, this could easily become a three-headed committee situation, which would be a nightmare for fantasy managers.
