Browns Agree With Third-Rounder David Bell
3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns agreed to a four-year, $4.894 million deal with third-round wide receiver David Bell on Thursday, according to his agent. Bell put up impressive numbers at Purdue, but he's not very fast and could struggle at the next level. The 21-year-old could be an option out of the slot in his rookie season in Cleveland, with Amari Cooper the clear No. 1 on the outside for quarterback Deshaun Watson. Outside of Cooper, the Browns don't have a clear-cut No. 2, with Donovan Peoples-Jones, Anthony Schwartz and Jakeem Grant competing for targets. It's possible that Bell could be a decent dynasty league sleeper because of his big frame at 6-foot-1.
