Danny Salazar Inks Minor League Deal With The Yankees
3 years agoThe New York Yankees signed free-agent right-hander Danny Salazar (shoulder) to a minor league deal on Thursday. The 32-year-old dealt with a severe shoulder issue, and he hasn't pitched in the majors since 2019. The former Cleveland Guardian owns a career of 3.82 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 688 strikeouts over 591 1/3 innings over six big-league seasons. Salazar will look to bounce back in the minors and work his way onto the Yankees roster in 2022.
