3 years agoCleveland Guardians outfielder Josh Naylor was placed on the COVID-19 injured list on Friday. Infielder Richie Palacios has been recalled from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move. Infielder Yu Chang was also activated from the COVID injured list, while Kirk McCarty was optioned to the minors. Naylor has been swinging a hot bat this year, so it's a big blow to the Guardians and fantasy managers alike, but hopefully he won't be out for more than a week. The 24-year-old is slashing a terrific .347/.377/.611 with a .988 OPS, five home runs, 22 RBI and 10 runs scored in his first 20 games. Naylor should remain rostered in all single-year fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
