3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Kyle Garlick (calf) is likely to be activated from the injured list on Monday ahead of the team's series opener against the Oakland Athletics. Garlick began a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul on Friday and was expected to play again on Sunday. The 30-year-old has been on the shelf since May 2, but he should rejoin the Twins this week, and it's possible he's back in the lineup as soon as Monday against A's left-hander Zach Logue. In 13 games for the Twins this year, Garlick is hitting .238 (5-for-21) with three home runs, six RBI and six runs scored.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
