Willy Adames Out Against Braves
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames (ankle) is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Atlanta Braves. Adames suffered a left ankle sprain on Sunday against the Miami Marlins, but thankfully X-rays came back negative. Fantasy managers should consider the 26-year-old day-to-day for now. Third baseman Luis Urias will shift to shortstop and bat second on Monday, while Jace Peterson gets the start at third base and is hitting eighth against Braves right-hander Ian Anderson. Adames has just a .208 batting average, but he's added a league-high nine home runs, 24 RBI, 23 runs scored and a stolen base in 35 games, making him fantasy relevant for his power after reaching the 20-homer mark for the third time in his career last year.
