3 years agoHouston Astros right-hander Jake Odorizzi was carted off during the fifth inning of a Monday night game against the Boston Red Sox. Odorizzi collapsed off of the mound during the game and was in obvious pain. His leg was immediately checked on by trainers, both from Houston and the Red Sox. Odorizzi had allowed two runs (one earned) over his five innings of work before departing with the leg injury. Look for the Astros to update his status after the game. Odorizzi has a 3-2 record, 3.13 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts in 31 2/3 innings of work in 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
