2 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop played a large part in Monday's 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays, hitting a two-run home run in the fourth inning. Altogether, he was 1-for-4 with no strikeouts. Schoop is in the midst of his worst offensive campaign to date, as he's slashing .162/.204/.262 with three home runs, and just 10 runs and eight RBI. The 30-year-old has been a quality bat for the majority of his career, with a career .258 batting average and 166 HRs over 1037 games, but his fantasy value is looking bleak right now.
