3 years agoTexas Rangers catcher Mitch Garver (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco on Tuesday. Garver injured his elbow last week and there was initially some speculation that it was a serious injury but he seems to have avoided a lengthy stay on the sidelines. For now, Garver is slated to serve as the DH for Frisco on Tuesday and it is unclear whether he will be catching at any point. Garver is hitting .205 with three homers, seven runs, and eight RBI over 78 at-bats in 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
