3 years agoFree-agent outfielder Michael Conforto (shoulder) is open to signing with a team following the conclusion of the 2022 MLB draft in mid-July, according to his agent Scott Boras. Conforto injured his shoulder during the lockout and had surgery later in the spring, putting a serious damper on his free agency activities. The veteran was originally thought to be out for the season but he is now apparently willing to come back as a hitter for a team late in the year. Conforto hit .252 with 14 homers, 52 runs, 55 RBI, and one steal for the New York Mets in 2021.--Matt T - RotoBaller
