3 years agoThe New England Patriots waived former University of Miami quarterback D'Eriq King on Monday. King signed with the Patriots on May 1 after going undrafted. The Patriots were planning on using King in a variety of roles on offense and potentially special teams, but he'll now be trying to latch on with another organization before training camps begin this summer. The 24-year-old spent four years at Houston before finishing his college career with two seasons as a Hurricane. King completed 64.7% of his passes for 3,453 yards, 26 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 14 career games at Miami the last two seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
