3 years agoChicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks earned his 10th save of the season in Monday's 5-3 extra-innings win over the Royals. Hendriks came in to pitch the 10th inning up by two with a ghost runner on second and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with three strikeouts. It was a strong rebound for him, who had allowed earned runs in each of his last two outings. Hendriks hasn't been as sharp as fantasy managers had hoped for with a 4.41 ERA and three blown saves this season, but he is getting saves and has 26 strikeouts through 16 1/3 IP.
