3 years agoColorado Rockies closer Daniel Bard turned in his third straight sub-par performance in Monday's 7-6 loss to the Giants. Bard entered to pitch the top of the ninth inning with the game tied 6-6. He struck the first two hitters out, but then allowed a solo home run to Mike Yastrzemski before getting the third out on a strikeout. Bard has earned nine saves this season but has now allowed earned runs in each of his last three outings with a blown save and two losses. Hopefully, Bard can get through this rough patch, but fantasy managers who roster him should pay attention to how the Rockies use their bullpen over the next couple of games.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
