Brady Singer To Start Game 2 Against White Sox
3 years agoKansas City Royals right-hander Brady Singer is being called up from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday to start the second game of a doubleheader against the Chicago White Sox. Jonathan Heasley will get the nod in Game 1. Singer could stick around in KC's starting rotation if he has a solid outing on Tuesday. The 25-year-old will be making his first start of the season after allowing four earned runs on seven hits while walking one and striking out six in 5 2/3 relief innings over three appearances earlier this year. He has started 39 games for the Royals in the last two season and was doing well in Omaha's rotation before his call-up. Singer is a more attractive option than Heasley in deeper fantasy leagues.
