3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton isn't in the starting lineup on Tuesday for a matchup with the Oakland Athletics and right-handed starter James Kaprielian. The 28-year-old is batting .256 with a .323 on-base percentage, 11 home runs, and a stolen base in 99 plate appearances this season. Instead, it'll be Gilberto Celestino starting in center field and hitting sixth against the A's. For the season, Celestino is batting .327 with a .386 on-base percentage in 58 plate appearances.
