3 years agoMinnesota Twins infielder Gio Urshela isn't starting on Tuesday. The Twins will take on the Oakland Athletics and right-handed starter James Kaprielian but will do so with Urshela on the bench. The infielder is batting .226 with a .280 on-base percentage and three home runs in 118 plate appearances this season. Instead, Jose Miranda is starting at third base and hitting eighth on Tuesday. The third baseman is batting .104 with a .140 on-base percentage and a home run in 50 plate appearances this season.
