3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (foot) was removed from Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the St. Cardinals after fouling a pitch off his foot. He went 1-for-8 with a double across both games before exiting Game 2 early. The severity of Nimmo's foot injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. This season, Nimmo has been solid for fantasy managers, slashing .292/.397/.458 with three home runs, 12 RBI, and 20 runs scored over 33 games in 2022.
