3 years agoCincinnati Reds pitcher Connor Overton continued his string of strong starts in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Guardians. Overton pitched 7 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts. The 28-year-old has come out of nowhere and now owns a 1.82 ERA, 10 strikeouts, and seven walks over four starts and 24 2/3 IP. The strikeouts have not been there and he has gotten hit hard, but Overton's stellar overall results remain intriguing. His next start will be a tough test against the Blue Jays on the road. Despite the strong numbers, fantasy managers should not trust him in his next start.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
