3 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Sheldon Neuse (groin) is back in the starting lineup as the designated hitter on Wednesday against Minnesota Twins right-hander Sonny Gray. Neuse is hitting second in the batting order. The 27-year-old missed the last three games with groin tightness, but he'll be back in there for the series finale against Minnesota. On the season, he's slashing .281/.346/.388 with two home runs, three doubles, two triples, 14 RBI, 14 runs scored and four stolen bases in 34 games for Oakland. However, he's cooled off in May, hitting .228/.290/.298 with no homers and one RBI in 62 plate appearances.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
