Bryce Harper Remains Out Against Padres
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (elbow) remains out of the starting lineup on Thursday for the series finale against the San Diego Padres. Harper sprained his right UCL early in the year and has mainly been the team's designated hitter, but he will miss his fourth straight game this week after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection last weekend. Last year's MVP continues to hit the ball when he's been in the lineup, slashing .305/.361/.634 with a .994 OPS, nine home runs, 27 RBI, 29 runs scored and six stolen bases in 34 games. The 29-year-old won't be playing right field anytime soon, but there's a chance he'll be back in the Phillies lineup this weekend. As soon as he's back in there as the DH, fantasy managers will want to get him back into their lineups. Catcher J.T. Realmuto is serving as the DH on Thursday and will hit fifth against Padres right-hander Yu Darvish.
