Tyler O'Neill Out With Sore Shoulder
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) was set to return to the lineup on Thursday against the New York Mets, but he'll be out for a second straight day with a sore right shoulder. O'Neill has gone 3-for-21 with 11 strikeouts in his last five contests. The slump has dropped O'Neill's season line to .195/.256/.297 with two home runs, 20 RBI, 14 runs scored and three stolen bases in 133 plate appearances over 32 games played. Fantasy managers will need to remove the 26-year-old from their starting lineups for a second straight game, and they may want to keep him benched until he gets back on track. Rookie Juan Yepez, who has gotten off to a nice start to his major league career, is in left field and is hitting fifth on Thursday against Mets right-hander Chris Bassitt.
