3 years agoCleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez (shin) is undergoing imaging on his right shin after fouling a ball off his left leg in the eighth inning on Thursday in the loss to the Cincinnati Reds. Ramirez had an RBI single in the same at-bat, but he was later removed from the contest. The 29-year-old entered the day hitting .281/.380/.563 with a .943 OPS, eight home runs, a league-leading 33 RBI, 21 runs scored, a league-leading two triples and three stolen bases in 34 games. Fantasy managers will be holding their breath that one of the best all-around hitters in the game can avoid a serious injury.
