3 years agoSan Diego Padres pitcher Taylor Rogers allowed one hit and one walk over a scoreless 1 1/3 innings to earn the save during Thursday's 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. In the eighth inning, with runners on first and third base, the southpaw struck out Nick Castellanos to escape a jam. He pitched a two-out walk in the ninth to notch his 15th save of the season. The 31-year-old owns a -0.52 ERA, 0.63 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts over 17 1/3 innings. Rogers leads the majors with 15 saves and has been one of the most reliable closers in fantasy baseball in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
