David Njoku Reportedly Offered Lucrative Contract
3 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku has amassed 1,754 yards and 15 touchdowns off 148 receptions throughout his five seasons. However, despite Njoku's subpar production, reports have surfaced that the Browns are looking to lock up the 25-year-old to a long-term deal that would pay him around $13 million per season. Still, the veteran may decline such an offer to look for even more cash moving forward, primarily if he expects to benefit from the presence of Deshaun Watson, assuming he plays. Nevertheless, considering Njoku's lack of reliability over the years, he needs to do a lot of convincing before earning the trust of fantasy managers.
