3 years agoOakland Athletics pitcher Cole Irvin (shoulder) will start Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels. He missed all of May after being placed on the 10-day injured list with shoulder tendinitis. The southpaw allowed one run on five hits while striking out six during a rehab start with Single-A Stockton. He owns a 2.93 WHIP, 1.16 WHIP, and an 18:7 K: BB across 27 2/3 innings for the A's in 2022. Irvin could be on a pitch count with this being his first start since April 30th; fantasy managers should proceed with caution when inserting the 28-year-old into starting lineups for Sunday's slate.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
