Corbin Burnes Roughed Up By Braves In Last Start
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Corbin Burnes faltered a bit on Wednesday, allowing a season-high four runs over six innings of work against the Braves. He gave up seven hits (including two homers) and also hit two batters. When all was said and done, his record went unblemished; Burnes finished with the no-decision as Milwaukee won in extra innings. Despite the hurler's shaky outing, he remains one of the top pitchers in baseball. He owns a fantastic 2.26 ERA, 31.5 percent strikeout rate, and 4.1 percent walk rate through eight outings. He owns one of the best whiff rates in baseball and continues to throw one of the best fastballs in Major League Baseball. Undoubtedly, Burnes should be both rostered and started in all fantasy baseball leagues.
