3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (shoulder) will stay in Milwaukee and undergo an MRI exam on his right shoulder on Monday. Peralta reported tightness in the back of his shoulder during a mound visit on Sunday against the Washington Nationals. Manager Craig Counsell said Peralta will go on the injured list. Fantasy managers will know more of a timetable for the 25-year-old right-hander after his MRI results are released, but he's likely to miss at least a couple turns in the rotation. The Brewers will go with a five-man starting rotation with Peralta sidelined, but right-hander Aaron Ashby is a candidate to take Peralta's spot in the Brewers rotation moving forward.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
