3 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds reinstated right-handers Tyler Mahle and Joel Kuhnel, infielder Brandon Drury and outfielder Albert Almora Jr. from the restricted list on Monday and optioned right-hander Graham Ashcraft, infielder Taylor Motter and outfielder Aristides Aquino to Triple-A Louisville in corresponding moves. Catcher Sandy Leon also returned to Louisville from the taxi squad. Mahle, Kuhnel, Drury and Almora were unable to travel to Canada for the team's weekend series against the Toronto Blue Jays due to COVID-19 restrictions, but they'll rejoin the team for a series against the Chicago Cubs that starts on Monday. Mahle is expected to return to the mound on Tuesday against Chicago, and he'll also line up to start Sunday against the San Francisco Giants.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
