3 years agoWashington Nationals designated hitter Nelson Cruz (ankle) is back as the designated hitter and is batting cleanup on Monday against Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Tyler Anderson. Cruz left the game early on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers with a sprained ankle, but the Nationals knew then the injury wasn't very serious. The 41-year-old veteran slugger has been much better in the month of May -- .276/.328/.397 with two homers and 10 RBI in 16 games -- to raise his season slash line to .204/.283/.296. Cruz has clubbed four home runs and driven in 21 runs in 142 at-bats in his first year in D.C., and fantasy managers should be looking to get him back into their lineups on Monday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
