Dylan Carlson Diagnosed With Hamstring Tear
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson's (hamstring) MRI exam showed a Grade 1/2 left hamstring strain, which is a tear. There is no current timetable for his return after the Cardinals placed him on the injured list on Monday. The 23-year-old was ice-cold to begin the season, but he was slashing .314/.351/.486 in his first 20 games of May, so the injury comes at a bad time for his fantasy managers. Corey Dickerson, Harrison Bader and Brendan Donovan are the team's starting outfielders on Monday against Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Jose Berrios. Juan Yepez should also see increased playing time for St. Louis with both Carlson and Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) sidelined.
