Kris Bryant Remains Out Tuesday
3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant (back) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. It will be the second straight that Bryant is out while dealing with back pain. Sam Hilliard will start in left field and hit eighth on Tuesday against Pirates right-hander Roansy Contreras. Bryant recently returned from a back injury that landed him on the injured list, so fantasy managers should be a little worried that he might go back on the IL. The 30-year-old has played only 17 games so far this year in his first season in Colorado, and he's hitting .270/.342/.333 with no home runs and four RBI in 73 plate appearances. Hilliard is 13-for-77 with two homers, 11 RBI and two steals in 28 games played, but he'll be a low-upside DFS sleeper in the eight-hole.
