MRI Comes Back Clean For Taylor Ward
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward (neck, shoulder) underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which came back clean. He is available to pinch-hit in Tuesday's game against the Texas Rangers, though he hasn't been cleared to throw and cannot yet play the field. The 28-year-old has no structural damage in his neck or shoulder, but his opportunities will be limited with Shohei Ohtani locked in as the team's primary designated hitter. Ward is off to an incredible start, slashing .370/.481/.713 with nine home runs, 23 RBI, 27 runs scored, and a stolen base over 131 plate appearances in 2022.
