Antonio Gibson May Get Less Work In 2022
3 years agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson had a productive 2021 season. He ran for over 1,000 yards while totaling 10 touchdowns. He also had a career-high 42 catches for 294 yards. However, head coach Ron Rivera recently stated that the team would utilize a committee approach out of the backfield during the 2022-23 campaign, meaning J.D. McKissic, Jaret Patterson, and rookie Brian Robinson Jr. will get some snaps. While Gibson still figures to be Washington's primary runner, his competition for touches could severely lessen his fantasy impact.
