James Washington In A Walking Boot
3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver James Washington (foot) was observed wearing a walking book during OTAs on Wednesday. An official diagnosis hasn't been made available to the public, although rumblings have surfaced suggesting the 26-year-old is dealing with tendinitis in his left foot. However, head coach Mike McCarthy indicated that his absence is "nothing serious, more precautionary," so he should be good to go for training camp. Washington, who signed with the Cowboys back in March, wasn't a solid contributor throughout his four seasons in Pittsburgh. Yet, with Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Amari Cooper no longer on the roster and Michael Gallup (knee) likely to miss the start of the year, Washington may see some action opposite CeeDee Lamb come September.
