Jorge Polanco Could Return Friday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins skipper Rocco Baldelli said that infielder Jorge Polanco (ankle) could be back in the lineup as early as Friday. Polanco has been receiving treatment on his injured right ankle, which has bothered him on and off. The 28-year-old will miss his third straight game on Thursday against the Kansas City Royals. Luis Arraez is starting at the keystone and is batting sixth against Royals left-hander Daniel Lynch. Polanco is hitting just .232/.333/.364 with four home runs, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored and two stolen bases in 177 plate appearances over 41 games this season. Arraez doesn't provide fantasy managers with much power (seven career homers in 281 games), but he's hitting .347 with a .446 on-base percentage in 36 games for the Twins.
