3 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays recalled infielder Cavan Biggio from Triple-A on Thursday and optioned infielder Vinny Capra to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Biggio is starting at first base and is batting ninth in his return to Toronto's starting lineup on Thursday night against Los Angeles Angels right-hander Shohei Ohtani. Biggio missed a few weeks while on the COVID injured list in late April and early May, and the Blue Jays sent him to the minors when he cleared the league's protocols. The 27-year-old went 1-for-23 with no homers and 10 strikeouts in 13 big-league games earlier this year, but he was hitting. 276 with no homers, three RBI and two steals in 10 games for Triple-A Buffalo before being called up. In a tough matchup against last year's American League MVP in Ohtani, Biggio is a fade in DFS.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
