Taylor Ward Sitting Against Blue Jays
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward (neck, shoulder) is not in the starting lineup on Thursday night against the Toronto Blue Jays. It will be the fifth straight game that Ward has missed as he deals with neck and shoulder issues, although his MRI exam came back clean on Wednesday. If the 28-year-old misses any more time moving forward, there's a chance he could land on the injured list. He has been excellent for fantasy managers in 2022 with a .370/.481/.713 slash line, a 1.194 OPS, nine home runs, 23 RBI, 27 runs scored and one stolen base in 108 at-bats for the Halos. Juan Lagares is in right field and is batting seventh on Thursday against Blue Jays left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu. Lagares will be making his season debut and has very little DFS upside.
